June Felter is a San Francisco Bay Area figurative painter influenced by David Park, Elmer Bischoff and Richard Diebenkorn. She began as a commercial illustrator before and during World War II, but moved into fine art painting and drawing in the 1950s. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums in the U.S and abroad, and is in private and museum collections.
